Arsha Vidya Mandir · Bhayli

A Non-Profit Ashram · A Living Tradition

Welcome to Arsha Vidya Mandir, Vadodara

Arsha Vidya Mandir is more than a temple—it is a place of peace, learning, and inner growth. Established under the sacred tradition of Pujya Swami Dayananda Saraswati, it offers a quiet refuge for anyone seeking a deeper understanding of life.

Nestled amidst the calm surroundings of Bhayli, Vadodara, the Mandir is a space where worship, the study of timeless wisdom, and selfless service come together in harmony.

At the heart of the Ashram is Shri Omkareshwara Mahadeva. Every day, prayers, ārati, abhiṣeka, and traditional pūjās are lovingly offered here. The atmosphere is filled with the chanting of the Vedas, the study of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, and the Brahma Sutras. Alongside this spiritual learning, the Ashram expresses its values through caring for the goshala and serving everyone who walks through its doors with warmth and humility.

Inspired by our sister Ashram in Rajkot, founded by Pujya Swami Paramatmananda Saraswati, Arsha Vidya Mandir carries forward three timeless ideals:

  • Ārsha Vidyā – discovering the wisdom of the ancient sages.
  • Saṁskāra – nurturing noble values and strong character.
  • Sevā – offering our time, talents, and abilities for the well-being of others.

Through residential courses, Sanskrit learning, value education for children and teachers, satsanga, and the publication of traditional texts, the Ashram strives to keep India's spiritual heritage alive and meaningful for today's world.

Whether you come as a devotee, a student, a seeker, or simply someone looking for a moment of quiet, you are always welcome here. Come for darśana, ask your questions, learn at your own pace, or simply sit in the peaceful presence of the sacred.

May your visit bring clarity to your mind, peace to your heart, and joy to your life.

"Know Bliss to be Brahman." — Taittirīya Upaniṣad
Arsha Vidya Mandir Trust Vadodara is an non profit initiative an Ashram— a refuge for the sincere seeker — established under the grace of the paramparā of Pūjya Swami Dayānanda Saraswatī. Nestled in Bhayli, on the outskirts of Vadodara, the mandir is at once a place of upāsanā, of śāstra study, and of selfless seva. At its heart stands Śrī Omkāreśvara Mahādeva, before whom daily ārati, abhiṣeka, and sankalpa pūjās are offered with traditional vidhi. Around this sanctum, the life of the āśrama unfolds — the chanting of the Vedas, the unhurried study of the Upaniṣads, the Bhagavad Gītā and the Brahmasūtra, the care of the gośālā, and the quiet seva of those who walk in. Inspired by our sister āśrama at Rajkot, founded by Pūjya Swami Paramātmānanda Saraswatī, the Ashram at Vadodara carries forward the same threefold vision — Ārṣa Vidyā (the knowledge of the ṛṣis), Saṃskāra (the shaping of character), and Sevā (the offering of one's skills to the larger whole). Through residential courses, value-education camps for students and teachers, Sanskrit study, satsaṅga, and the publication of traditional texts, the mandir serves as a living seat of bhāratīya saṃskṛti. You are welcome — as visitor to the ashram as student, as devotee — to enter, to enquire, to take darśana, and to rest awhile in the company of the wise.
